Construction Project Manager (Construction Services exp req) Description

Our client in commercial real estate is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their lean, collaborative team in Bethesda, MD. In this role, you’ll oversee smaller-scale projects (typically under $500k) across office, retail, and flex properties while playing a vital role in training and supporting the property management team on construction-related issues. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on construction management experience, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.

• Manage multiple construction projects under $500k from planning through closeout
• Visit sites across MD and VA weekly to inspect work and resolve issues
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and scope to ensure quality execution
• Conduct project status meetings and communicate progress to leadership
• Train property managers on construction documents and workflows
• Lead "lunch and learn" sessions to build team construction literacy
• Support leasing and property management teams with project input
• Review bids and drawings; approve before external distribution
• Track project costs and identify potential savings

• 2+ years of construction or project management experience required
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety, and best practices required
• Project management software experience required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally 3x/week required

• Salary: $100,000–$120,000 + 10% Bonus
