JOOLA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Executive Analyst – Economics with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for growth to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
We are looking for an Executive Analyst – Economics to support economic analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights that inform key business initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their analytical or economics career who is eager to learn, grow, and apply quantitative and qualitative analysis in a real-world business environment. As the company operates in a high-growth phase, it is essential that this individual can manage multiple priorities, synthesize complex data, and stay highly organized in a fast-paced setting.
The Executive Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze trends, evaluate business performance, and deliver insights that support strategic planning and long-term business objectives.
- Economic Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research and prepare reports on issues related to monetary policy, fiscal policy, labor markets, international trade, and industrial organization.
- Evaluate data on production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services to identify patterns and risks.
- Data Collection & Modeling
- Design and implement surveys, interviews, and data collection frameworks to gather economic data.
- Apply advanced analytical techniques, including mathematical modeling, statistical analysis (regression, time-series forecasting), and econometric tools.
- Trend Interpretation & Forecasting
- Interpret analytical results to forecast economic trends, including GDP growth, inflation, and employment rates.
- Develop predictive models to assess risks and opportunities for stakeholders.
- Propose data-driven solutions to economic challenges such as labor shortages, trade imbalances, and sectoral disruptions.
- Reporting & Communication
- Present complex findings through tables, charts, dashboards, and executive summaries tailored to diverse audiences.
- Deliver presentations to senior leadership, policymakers, and industry partners.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, policy) to align economic insights with organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, International Affairs, or a closely related field
- 2 years of experience in analyzing economic and financial data
