Position Summary:

KIC Construction is looking to hire an Operator for heavy and other specialized equipment for various construction jobs and snow removal.

• Fuel and upkeep during the day-day operational use of equipment used.
• Inspect equipment daily to assure it is in proper condition to operate. Inspections include checking fluid levels, brakes, tires pressure/track tension, leaks, and hydraulic systems.
• Report truck conditions to KIC shop.
• Complete all work orders and tasks assigned in a timely manner.
• Comply with all company policies and applicable federal, state and local laws and safety standards.
• Must have An Uncompromising Commitment to Safety!
• Other duties as assigned.

• An Alaskan CDL is required with a clean driving record.
• Unexpired DOT Physical Card preferred.
• Must pass a Drug Test and background checks.
• Prior experience with safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment and observance of traffic laws and regulations as well as OSHA Standards.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or less.
