Description:
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care based on nursing practice standards.
Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide quality, cost-effective, and efficient care.
Aims to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Serves as a resource person when the situation requires.
Applies age-specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care.
Responsible for the care of all patients from birth to elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients.
Conducts the initial assessment and re-assessment every 24 hours.
