** Exciting Opportunity for an Inpatient Med/Surg Registered Nurse!** *
* Job Description:
** - Take charge of delivering exceptional patient care through a comprehensive nursing process:
- Assessment - Nursing Diagnosis - Planning - Implementation - Evaluation - Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients, aligning with established nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality, cost-effective, and efficient care.
- Serve as an invaluable resource in critical situations, providing guidance and support.
- Deliver compassionate care to diverse patient populations, from newborns to the elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients.
- Conduct initial assessments and re-assessments every 24 hours to monitor progress and adjust care plans.
- Embrace and apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in all interactions and care delivery.
** Position
Qualifications:
** - Completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Current, valid Registered Professional Nurse license in good standing in the State of Alaska.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Open to international nurses who have completed the NCLEX, TOEFL, and Visa Screen, as we are a qualified designated H1-C critical shortage area.
