JOB SUMMARYThe Oiler is responsible for supporting the maintenance and performance of heavy equipment and vehicles by removing, replacing, and monitoring all fluid levels, including oil, coolant, and hydraulic fluids. This project-based role works in dynamic field environments, ensuring that machinery remains properly lubricated and operational to meet project demands. The Oiler plays a key part in minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of critical equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Remove and replace fluids for engines, transmission, differential, and hydraulics on a wide variety of equipment and vehicles.
- Remove and replace filters for use in different fluid systems.
- Monitor and top off fluid levels.
- Assist mechanics in the repair and maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
- Properly dispose of oily waste and lube oil.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid (U.S issued) Driver’s License is required.
- A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
- The ability to work 80.5 hours a week on a 3x3 rotation is required.
- At least two (2) years of experience working on non-mobile, light-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment as an Oiler is required.
- Three (3) or more years of experience working as a Heavy-Duty Oiler specifically in the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
