Position: Campus Supervisor (RN)

Responsibilities

Campus Supervisor – Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Campus Supervisor provides direct campus-wide supervision to all staff on a given shift. Provides physical assessments of residents, implements residents’ treatment plans, evaluates responses to treatment, provides complete documentation, administers medications as prescribed, and delivers health‑care education to residents and families. Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care and with the facility’s mission, values, policies and behavioral standards.

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital at Bethany is a 56‑bed psychiatric hospital offering adult behavioral health programs and treatment services. The facility provides crisis stabilization and medication management to patients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, paranoia, and schizophrenia. It offers a secure haven for patients with suicidal or homicidal thoughts and supports those who are regaining self‑worth. The treatment is for adults over 18 with severe mental illness impacting functioning.

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital also offers inpatient and residential treatment services for ages 5‑17, with a structured, supportive environment that promotes self‑acceptance and stabilization of patients with acute psychiatric illnesses. The multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement compassionate treatment plans. The 116‑bed facility is on a wooded campus featuring a pond, school, courtyard and playground.

The ideal candidate is dependable, empathetic, compassionate and must be reliable.

Qualifications
  • Valid licensure and registration by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing as a registered nurse required
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of prior clinical experience required
  • Recent psychiatric nursing experience required
  • Minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
  • BSN or master’s degree preferred
  • CPR certification within 30 days of employment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Successful completion of a drug test
  • Successful pass of a national background check
  • Physical agility to manage patients; ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent or aggressive behavior
  • Potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste
