** Bessemer, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you conduct regular patrols and provide exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location by vehicle, responding promptly to situations, and maintaining open communication with clients and team members.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for unusual activity, report observations, and communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.

+ Assist with access control procedures and verify credentials as required.

+ Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and policies to help to deter policy violations.

+ Document incidents and complete required reports in a timely and accurate manner.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
