• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and respond to guest concerns
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store and in your area to resolve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and discuss benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain how to use Target App features, including Wallet
• Familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns following register prompts; collaborate with leaders as needed while following Target policies
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage unpurchased items and supplies
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-Up orders, and related duties with compliance to laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed
• Safely scan, handle and move merchandise, lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance necessary
• Remain mobile for the duration of shift; shift length may vary
• Work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
