Food Service Worker

Position

Food Service Worker – Full Time.

Location:

Oaks on Parkwood, 300 Johnson Ferry Rd., Bessemer, AL 35022. Pay: $14.00–$14.50 per hour.

Schedule:

Full-time, open availability preferred (Monday–Friday, weekends, holidays).

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Move pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas using proper wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• CLEAN work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Follow approved food recipes and production standards to ensure correct quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers friendly and efficiently following outlined service steps.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
