Join a leading surgical team in the Main Operating Room supporting Neuro/Spine specialties in a dynamic hospital setting located near Bessemer, AL. This contract position offers the opportunity to work 4 ten-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., totaling 36 guaranteed weekly hours. The role includes call responsibilities that will be detailed during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care within the Neuro/Spine Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and support patient care before, during, and after operations.
• Utilize medical equipment such as the Davinci Robot and support orthopedics as needed.
• Adhere strictly to the unit's dress code and professional standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with 2+ years of Neuro/Spine OR experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Experience working with robotic surgical systems and ortho procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system advantageous.
• Comfortable floating within a 25-mile radius of the hospital as needed.

Work Environment and Details:

• 24-bed unit with a 1:1 patient ratio, emphasizing quality patient care.
• Navy scrub color required; no T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish permitted.
• Surgical cases focused on neuro/spine and related specialties.
