Technician-Refrigeration

The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and replacing parts in the refrigerated cases.

• Use job specific tools and equipment to install refrigeration systems in refrigerated cases as per specifications.
• Inspect and test system operation of newly installed systems.
• Prepare equipment for installation including inspection/set up of electrical system.
• Assemble refrigeration components as per specifications.

• High School Degree or GED
• HVAC certification is a plus
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate job specific tools and equipment
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Strong verbal communication skills

• A minimum of one year experience working with refrigeration systems.
• Experience in a light manufacturing setting preferred.

• Work schedule:
  
  7:00 am to 3:30 pm, possible overtime.
• Work environment reflective of a light manufacturing setting; work on concrete floors for duration of shift.
• Must be able to safely work with electrical parts and charges.
• Must lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must raise arms above shoulders regularly, and freely rotate arms/shoulders to lift/move parts.
• Must kneel, crouch, stoop, bend, and squat when needed.
• Work includes repetitive hand, arm, wrist, and leg motion.
• Hand/finger flexibility, dexterity, excellent eyesight required (with or without corrective lenses).
