Press Brake Operator

Snelling is recruiting a Press Brake Operator as a leading manufacturer in the Bessemer, AL area! As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, operating a state-of-the-art press brake machine to bend, shape, and form metal and other materials into custom components for specialized storage and display solutions.

Key Responsibilities of Press Brake Operator:
• Operate press brake machine to bend, shape, and form metal and other materials according to blueprints and technical specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication

• Perform quality checks and inspections on finished components

• Maintain and clean press brake machine and related equipment

• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize production processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications Required for Press Brake Operator:
• 1-2 years of experience operating a press brake machine in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation/Shift: • $19/per hour

• 2nd shift
