** POSITION SUMMARY
** The Quality Technician I will assure consistent quality of production by enforcing quality and manufacturing standards.
*** This is an overnight shift with hours from 5:30am to 6:00pm. Some weekend work required.
***** RESPONSIBILITIES
* ** Ensure all products are produced per Milo’s quality standards.
* Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks as needed.
* Monitor compliance with and administer GMP or SQF requirements.
* Ensure Food Safety and Food Quality compliance as directed.
* Maintain all laboratory and testing equipment and perform calibrations per schedule.
* Assist with the receipt of raw ingredients and sample, test and/or review.
* Monitor FIFO and communicate concerns to the QA Manager.
* Perform testing and document weights, volumes, colors, brix, codes, packaging integrity, and other routine testing as required.
* Perform environmental testing of air, water, and bacteria according to schedules.
* Perform additional duties as directed by the QA Manager.
* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
* Collect and prepare samples for shipment as needed.
* Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
