Description
Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Mac Neal Hospital is located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago! We are seeking experienced adult intensive care or emergency department nurses to join our Critical Care Outreach Team. This newly created team will be made-up of self-directed and experienced nurses who will function at top-of-license to provide critical care nursing resources wherever patient’s need it.
This 24/7 team of nurses will be accountable for responding to medical emergencies, proactively providing nursing interventions to at-risk patient populations, acting as a resource in our intensive care unit, and being a nurse consultant in non-critical care settings. The Critical Care Outreach nurses will be highly visible members of our care team, and in collaboration with senior leaders have opportunities to contribute to and design new models of care.

- A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
- 3+ years critical care nursing experience, or ED nursing experience with critical care experience
- BLS and ACLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
BSN Pay Range: $34.76 - $57.06 per hour
ADN Pay Range: $32.31 - $57.06 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
