As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview

The Legal Assistant plays a key role in supporting attorneys and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position involves direct client interaction, document preparation, case organization, and administrative support—particularly for immigration-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients in person, by phone, and via email (Spanish and English).
  • Assist with client intake, questionnaires, and document collection.
  • Prepare, organize, and file legal documents and forms.
  • Maintain and update client files and case management systems.
  • Schedule consultations, hearings, and deadlines.
  • Follow up with clients regarding missing documents or upcoming appointments.
  • Support attorneys with administrative and case-related tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant or administrative assistant (law firm experience preferred).
  • Fluency in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and reliability.
Preferred (But Not Required)
  • Experience in immigration law or family law.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and court filings.
  • Experience with legal case management software.
