Position: Carpenter with Experience
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of structures and materials required
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
• Cut, shape, and join materials made of wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools
• Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings, using paint, hand tools, and paneling
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Knowledge of building materials, codes, and safety regulations
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED
• Relevant experience with carpentry, masonry, and electrical is required
• Familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices
• Valid driver's license
• Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position and regular work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00  addition to weekends on an as-needed basis with the ability to work outside of or in addition to those hours as needed.

Travel:

• Must be willing to travel. Travel expectation outside of the local area can vary.
