What you can achieve with us

• You are responsible for administrative specialist applications, support and monitor them throughout their entire lifecycle.
• You analyze requirements, accompany their implementation, and coordinate internal as well as external partners.
• You lead smaller projects, subprojects, and actively participate in larger initiatives.
• You work closely with specialist departments, ICT infrastructure, ICT support, external service providers, and manufacturers.
• You conduct tests, document changes, and ensure transparent processes.
• You actively contribute to optimizing our application landscape at the IV Office of the Canton of Bern.

Which skills are important to us

• You have solid experience in application management, ideally in the social insurance or public administration environment.
• You have solid SQL knowledge and confidently apply it in your daily work.
• You actively accompany the digital transformation and optimize specialist applications as well as business processes.
• You coordinate interface management and ensure secure data exchange between systems.
• You are resilient and gladly take on responsibility, including assignments outside office hours.
• You handle confidential information carefully and professionally.
• Networked thinking, persistence, and analytical skills characterize you.
• We are a bilingual (German–French) company – active knowledge of the other language is therefore desired.

Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks

• Vacation

At least 25 days of vacation annually, 28 days from age 45, and 33 days from age 55. Possibility of unpaid leave

Cantonal salary system, gender-neutral and transparent salary policy. Full salary during parental leave, military, civil protection, and civilian service
