Strategic IT Buyer (m/f/d)

100% | On-site | Bern region | CHF 110’000 – 150’000 + 5% bonus

For a well‑established, internationally active company, we are looking for a Strategic IT Buyer who wants to actively shape IT procurement rather than purely execute it.

You will join a high‑performing procurement team with a collaborative mindset, short decision paths and a supportive, experienced leader who values ownership, professionalism and continuous development.

• Strategic ownership of the IT procurement category (software, hardware, IT services)
• Development and implementation of a sustainable category strategy
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance, Business Units)
• End‑to‑end responsibility for tenders, RFQs/RFPs and contract negotiations
• Active development and management of the supplier portfolio
• Identification and implementation of process improvements and cost optimizations
• Contribution to professional, compliant procurement processes in a regulated environment

• Completed education, advanced training or a formal diploma in Procurement (mandatory)
• Proven professional experience in IT procurement (mandatory) (software, hardware and/or IT services)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in strategic or strategic‑related procurement
• Experience working with SAP (strong advantage)
• Fluent German and English skills (minimum C1 required)
• Structured, independent and solution‑oriented working style
• Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management capabilities
• Comfortable working in a professional, regulated environment

• Salary range CHF 110’000 – 150’000
