Senior Strategic Buyer - Indirect Procurement & Sustainability (German speaker)

• Strategically support internal stakeholders in complex procurements under public procurement law (IVöB)
• Develop and implement multi-year procurement plans for indirect categories
• Design and execute category and supplier strategies, including supplier management, performance evaluation, and risk management
• Analyze market, price, and cost developments and derive optimization measures
• Build and integrate a sustainable category, contract, and supplier management system
• Advise internal departments on cost-effective, compliant, and sustainable procurement
• Develop and implement sustainable procurement processes, including supplier assessments, risk management, and training of internal teams

• Commercial training or equivalent qualification, ideally with further education in procurement or business administration (HF/FH level)
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, especially in indirect categories and complex procurement projects
• Solid knowledge of public procurement regulations (IVöB)
• Experience in category, procurement, and supplier strategy development, including multi-year planning
• Strong interest in sustainable procurement and ability to implement it practically
• Project management experience (ideally Hermes 2022) and ability to manage cross-functional initiatives
• Proficient with ERP systems (SAP advantageous), e-procurement tools, and digital procurement processes
• Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a structured, proactive, and responsible working style
