Your Job:
We are looking for Software Engineering Talents with hands-on experience and passion in building and integrating RF Software solutions in communication, telemetry, or radar systems. You will own the software stack that drives our RF systems — which may include host-side SDR control or FPGA and microcontroller programming. This role combines system-level software engineering with low-level firmware/FPGA development to ensure maximum flexibility and performance in radar operations.
You will be part of a small, early and focused team working closely with the company founders.
- Your actions will directly shape and impact the technical advancements.
- You will design and test software for advanced radar systems, including airborne (e.g., drone-based) configurations.
- Collaborate with RF and hardware engineers for system design.
- Work with SDRs and use of existing SDKs to implement and control RF functions.
- Develop robust control software for SDRs, frequency synthesizers, RF switches, gain stages, data acquisition, etc.
- Design and implement digital signal processing techniques (on FPGA or DSP) for sampling, filtering, calibration, synchronization, channel equalization, etc., prior to imaging pipelines.
- Build algorithms for frequency hopping, chirp scheduling, fast-tuning, and multi-channel timing alignment.
- Build automated testing setups for system validation.
- Communicate in real-time with other computer systems (Nvidia Jetson, NUCs, etc.), and optimize data streaming and buffering.
- Work closely with SAR engineers to provide clean, calibrated baseband data streams.
- Very good experience with FPGA development (Verilog or VHDL) for real time data acquisition, and signal processing systems.
- Very good experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming (C, C++, or Rust) for board-level RF control via SPI/I²C/UART
- Strong programming background in C++ and Python for host-side SDR/RF control
- Good experience with digital signal processing.
- Previous experience with RF transceivers or Radar systems.
- Nice to have:
Previous experience with FMCW or pseudo random signals. - Nice to have:
Previous experience with controlling and programming SDRs (e.g., USRP, Aaronia, Keysight, Ettus, LimeSDR).
