We are on the lookout for a Staff Software Engineer to join our "Tech Hub Core" team. You will contribute to building and extending our next‑generation Tech Hub, the central place for our engineers, managers, and leaders to discover information, manage the lifecycle of their applications, and automate tasks. • Design and build our Tech Hub and associated automations to help all the tech people in Delivery Hero access key information necessary to their daily work and automate tasks.
• Lead complex, high‑impact projects from concept to completion.
• Operate across multiple teams to provide technical guidance and help align work with strategic goals.
• Communicate clearly and timely technical findings and progress through reports and data analysis.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Working experience with OpenAPI, Golang, and databases.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices architectures. You have a good understanding of distributed systems, microservices architectural patterns, troubleshooting methods and best practices.
• Experience with Dev Ops practices and SRE; you are used to run, operate, and be on‑call for the systems your team owns.
• You can manage ambiguity and changing priorities and make good trade‑offs under those circumstances.
• Experience working across teams and communicating with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience in Frontend Development (Type Script/JavaScript)
• Experience building agentic assistants and ML‑powered applications.
• Experience in Python

• Hybrid working model: 2 days a week on‑site at our beautiful Berlin campus.
