Berlin con mucho Arte (Bcm Arte) is a non-profit cultural organization in Berlin, aimed at democratizing art and culture for all. Founded in 2010 by Ricardo de Larrea, it serves as a platform for both local and international artists to exhibit, collaborate, and engage with the vibrant Berlin art scene. Located in the culturally rich district of Kreuzberg, known for its struggle against gentrification, BcmA stands as a symbol of community and resistance.
The space operates as an art laboratory, fostering discussions, introspection, and various forms of collaboration. It offers a dynamic range of programs in art, film, literature, and theatre, functioning simultaneously as an exhibition space, workspace, and a communal meeting point. Collaborating with artists and curators like Jay Gard and Wolfgang Flad, BcmA is committed to supporting professional artists and integrating the social aspects of art with the city's fabric.
This commitment extends to showcasing emerging Berlin artists, reflecting the city's cultural diversity and addressing social issues through art.
