Plato is building the AI Operating System for Distributors.

The €53T wholesale industry powers global supply chains, yet most distributors still run on decades-old ERP systems. We combine deep ERP integrations with AI to give every sales rep, manager, and operations team an intelligent co-pilot that automates the tedious and amplifies what humans do best. Backed by top-tier EU & US investors, with advisors from Miro, Celonis, Personio, Workday, Forto, and Microsoft.

We’re looking for a Product Designer to help define how humans and AI work together in B2B software. You’ll design experiences where AI handles the manual, repetitive work, freeing sales teams to focus on relationships, strategy, and closing deals. You’ll shape interfaces that make AI feel like a trusted partner: proactive, transparent, and genuinely useful.

• Design AI Co-Pilot Experiences: You create interfaces that anticipate user needs, surface the right information, and automate tedious work.

• Simplify Complex Data: You turn data-rich interfaces (dashboards, insights, recommendations) into experiences that feel simple and actionable.

• Define Human-AI Interaction: You shape how users interact with AI: when to trust it, when to override it, how to stay in control.

• Close the Feedback Loop: You review feedback from users, validate UX and UI iterations, and use data to guide decisions.

You have 3-5 years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, with proven expertise designing AI-powered or data-driven interfaces.

AI Design Experience

• You've designed features where users interact with predictions, recommendations, or generated content.

• You understand how to communicate AI uncertainty, confidence levels, and decision-making to non-technical users.

• You know how to make data-heavy interfaces feel simple and actionable.

Strong UX, UI, and Systems Thinking

• You turn ambiguity into simple, intuitive solutions.

• You have expert-level Figma skills including components, prototyping, and design system management.

• Your portfolio shows end-to-end product design work with measurable impact.

How You Work

• You use AI tools to accelerate your design process and find creative ways to deliver value faster.

• You're comfortable prototyping with AI before engineering resources are committed.

• You're comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you'll contribute across product and marketing design.

• You care about outcomes, not just pixels.

Language Skills

• Fluent in English, German is a plus given our large customer base in DACH.

Bonus points if

• You've designed for ERP, CRM, or workflow-heavy B2B software (SAP, Salesforce, etc.)

• You have experience designing for non-digital-native users (field sales, operations teams)

• You've worked at an early-stage B2B startup before
