You approach search holistically across all core SEO disciplines from technical SEO to scalable on-page and information architectures, content and entity strategies, off-page signals, and generative AI–driven search.
While grounded in the proven fundamentals of core SEO, you actively engage with the structural changes currently reshaping organic visibility through Large Language Models and AI-based search systems, particularly in the context of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

- You collaborate closely with the SEO team to further develop our search strategy, spanning scalable content and information architectures as well as international crawl and indexation management.
- You analyze the impact of LLM-based search systems (e.g. AI Overviews, ChatGPT, conversational search experiences) on visibility, traffic, and user journeys, and translate insights into concrete optimization initiatives.
- You drive the continuous, data-driven improvement of our international search performance, assessing new ranking signals, SERP formats, and traffic shifts across markets and platforms.
- You produce in-depth analyses, dashboards, and reports, turning complex search developments into clear, decision-relevant insights for stakeholders.
- You support strategic SEO initiatives end-to-end, from concept and validation through to rollout, working closely with Engineering, Product, Content, Data, and other cross-functional teams.
- A holistic understanding of SEO beyond traditional channel boundaries, with several years of experience in advanced or enterprise-level SEO environments.
- Strong expertise in technical SEO, international scaling, content architecture, and ranking mechanisms within competitive markets.
- A deep interest in Large Language Models, hands-on experience with GEO and AI-based search interfaces, and the ability to distinguish between short-term hype and long-term relevance for sustainable organic visibility.
- Confidence working with large data sets and practical experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sistrix/SEMrush, internal BI solutions, or comparable analytics setups.
- A structured, analytical, and strategic mindset, paired with a pragmatic approach to prioritization and execution.
- Very good German and English communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex topics, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of initiatives with high strategic impact.
