• You ensure that our hybrid cloud environment and Kubernetes-based business applications are running smoothly.
• Deploying, scaling and operating business-critical applications, you work hands-on on with Kubernetes clusters, Postgre
  
  SQL and Oracle databases as well as Kafka messaging systems.
• Using Terraform and related tools, you bring Infrastructure-as-Code practices to life and ensure our environments are consistent, reliable and easy to manage.
• Fully embedded within business squads, you support both application development and day-to-day operations and collaborate closely with our SRE team to maintain resilience, security and compliance across all systems.
• Another key part of your work will be designing, implementing and continuously improving solutions for monitoring, alerting and logging systems.
• You take a proactive role in refining CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies, to ensure we deliver software efficiently and with high quality.
• As lead of our 24/7 on-call rota, you provide rapid incident responses and help issue fast, effective resolutions.
• Security, compliance and operational standards are always at the forefront of your mind. To keep our operations safe and compliant, you contribute to audits, maintain clear and accurate documentation, and support risk assessments.

• Proven experience in leading Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering teams within a hybrid cloud environment
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration and cloud-native technologies
• Hands-on experience with both Microsoft Azure and private cloud platforms with proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions or Azure Pipelines
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks
• Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or Dev Ops practices are a plus
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)
• Experience in regulated industries or with compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO, SOC
  2) of advantage
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty for escalation handling
• The ability to look outside the box and develop sustainable solutions
• Ideally, strong background in IT security and experience working in agile and cross-functional team environments
• Good English, both written and spoken;
  German is a plus
