Senior Quality Assurance Engineer; f​/m​/x - Single ; SSO Services Engineering

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/x), you’ll join the Single Sign On (SSO) Services Engineering team to deliver automation solutions for cloud deployments.

You will be responsible for end-to-end testing within a complex project environment. You will directly collaborate with business departments and both local and remote engineers, analysts and project managers from partnering teams. Your role will be to work with the Business Functional Analyst, SSO Solution Architects and Engineering team to ensure robust testing is executed.

You will be heavily involved at all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from initial scoping and planning exercises through to the detailed analysis and collaboration with the IT team ensuring working software is tested extensively across all environments.

• Testing of SSO functions working alongside SSO team by using a combination of automated and manual testing approaches
• Investing in automated testing coverage and non-prod environment configuration management
• Feeding back improvement ideas into development team for better operational efficiency
• Clear and concise documentation covering the testing strategy and approach, testing setup, performance and latency testing including data extraction queries and performance stand setup
• Take responsibility of the testing team and front-to-back testing for SSO Services
• Requirements analysis from quality assurance perspective and test cases design based on specifications and requirements
• Plan and execute full set of test activities: create, maintain and execute automated tests, design and perform functional and non-functional testing
• Collaborate and communicate openly. Engage directly with business and technology to ensure that the software delivered is fit for purpose
• Develop and extend in-house testing automation tools and test frameworks

• Experience working in Quality Assurance area, test analysis skills, ability to design test cases using different test techniques
• Hands on experience in automated testing processes and methodologies
• Experience in testing complex systems
• Strong technical background, experience with SQL, Unix commands
• Experience working with Google Cloud architecture, Docker, Kubernetes and any of these Public Clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience in working on large scale and complex deliverables spanning across multiple functions, workflows and stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills with Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines and adapt communication styles (written and verbal) across business and technical disciplines
• Proactive, delivery orientated approach with Enthusiastic ‘can do’ approach to all responsibilities
• Experience in complex infrastructure and enterprise software platforms with strong Google Cloud experience, SDLC development practices and tools, experience of Terraform and Git Hub. Preferable (not mandatory) knowledge of Oracle and Java
