Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a European deep‑tech company building a sovereign, energy‑efficient cloud platform for modern AI and high‑performance workloads. The company operates a distributed, automated infrastructure and is scaling rapidly in a multi‑entity, international environment
. Building an AI‑native finance organization is a strategic priority.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will own group accounting, reporting, consolidation and controls across multiple legal entities. This is a senior, hands‑on role for a finance leader capable of structuring, scaling and automating finance operations in a deep‑tech context.

Strong, proven experience leveraging AI in accounting operations is mandatory.

The role is not about maintaining legacy processes, but about designing an AI‑first accounting function
.

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual group close and consolidation
• Deliver accurate management accounts, board and investor reporting
• Ensure IFRS / local GAAP compliance across jurisdictions
• Define and enforce group accounting policies and internal controls
• Lead and optimise Net Suite ERP across the group (Net Suite is a must‑have)
• Drive automation and AI adoption (reconciliations, anomaly detection, journal automation, close acceleration)
• Manage audits, statutory compliance and intercompany processes
• Partner closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives and growth

• 8–12+ years in accounting / financial control
• Strong experience in multi‑entity, international environments
• Background in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure or deep‑tech companies
• Net Suite expert (+++)
• Mandatory hands‑on experience implementing AI tools in accounting workflows
• Strong IFRS / GAAP knowledge and consolidation expertise
• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
• Comfortable building finance infrastructure from the ground up
