Responsibilities- Oversees and coordinates residential, fleet, multifamily, and DCFC EV Charging Program in CT, including program delivery, monitoring, and evaluation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Recommends appropriate resources to implement cost-effective programs, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders to refine optimal electric vehicle charging strategies to meet key program objectives.
- Works with industry stakeholders and local communities across Eversource territory to raise awareness of EV Charging Program.
- Ensures compliance with state regulations and Company policies, changing operating procedures as necessary.
- Stay up to date on the managed charging capabilities of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), vehicle onboard telematics, and aftermarket onboard diagnostic ports.
- Work with EVSE and vehicle original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to integrate their equipment into the Program and Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS).
- Works with management to budget and plan implementation for the Program. Tracks financial and operational performance of all program elements.
- Fosters and supports the development of a company culture that promotes high customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Public Policy, Financial, related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
- Three (3) plus years managing complex, high-volume customer-facing programs.
- Requires working knowledge of clean energy policy and program management.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting best practices.
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of electric vehicle charging and utility DR and peak demand reduction programs and load profiling.
- Experience in presenting findings to regulators.
- Experience with EV charging technology.
