Our client, a well-established organization in the manufacturing/distribution space, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys investigating discrepancies, and is comfortable working within SAP. Key responsibilities include managing full-cycle AP, performing 3-way match, resolving invoice variances, supporting inventory-related reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close.

The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of accounting workflows within a product-based business.

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, 3-way matching, coding, and payment processing

• Research, validate, and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing errors, and shipment issues

• Maintain accurate vendor files, aging reports, and payment schedules

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, operations, inventory) to resolve vendor disputes and delivery issues

• Assist with AP-related reconciliations, including GR/IR and inventory variances

• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and month-end close

• Utilize SAP for daily processing, reporting, and vendor account analysis

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience; manufacturing/distribution experience strongly preferred

• Proficiency in SAP required

• Strong understanding of 3-way match and inventory-related AP workflows

• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
