Overview

Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. On occasion you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

Your

Role and Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day engagement: Using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support: Hallmark's operations include seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays (e.g., Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), expect additional days and extended hours. You may be required to work on actual holidays, which may include weekends.
  • Department resets: May participate in teams responsible for installations and tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Usually notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments; evenings or weekends may be required.
  • One Team Vision: As part of Hallmark's field organization, you are part of a network of merchandisers that often support other team members in their territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding role requiring high energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You may kneel, squat, walk, stand, and possibly climb stairs or step ladders during a shift.

  • You're able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • You have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • You have access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
