Test & Evaluation lab Technicial

Overview

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Perform fabrication, assembly, set-up, and test operations for Test & Evaluation of Air Dominance, PW & Weapons platforms. To include installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems. Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements. Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems.

Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under general supervision.

Electrical fabrication experience (i.e. soldering, crimping, pinning, ringout, routing, etc). Ability to interpret electrical schematics.

Air Vehicle electrical manufacturing, modifications, or maintenance. Strain Gage installation experience.

Pay Rate Range: 26 - 31 USD hourly.
