• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC
  2)
• Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies and guidelines
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and ensure adherence to frameworks
• Lead risk assessments and collaborate with teams to mitigate compliance gaps
• Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits, providing necessary evidence for compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in information security, compliance, or related roles
• Experience with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and compliance requirements
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely

• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Familiarity with cloud security and third-party risk management
• Understanding of EU and UK compliance regulations, laws, and frameworks
