Growing utility company operating across multiple states. Revenue has grown from ~$50M to nearly $200M over the past four years through acquisitions and infrastructure investment. The Accounting & Finance team is led by a strong, process‑driven VP who has built a collaborative, high‑performing culture.
Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Billing, this role focuses on 1st party residential collections for residential accounts, including managing delinquent accounts and shut‑off activity. The individual will also partner with leadership to evaluate and improve the collections process, as some functions are currently outsourced.
Qualifications- 3–5+ years of utility collections experience preferred
- 1st party collections experience required (Business to consumer)
- Shut‑off process knowledge strongly preferred
- Understanding of utility billing regulations and compliance standards ideal
