The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking Senior Experienced Manufacturing Engineers located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Overview

We are looking for Experienced Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness and composite fabrication. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Fighter Jet programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for air vehicle subsystems.
  • Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
  • Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Level 3: 5+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years with a master’s degree OR equivalent experience with a PhD.
  • Level 4: 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree OR 7+ years with a master’s degree OR equivalent experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Composite fabrication experience
  • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers
  • Experience with 3D model-based instruction
  • Experience with IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, Prime

    R, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA, Vis Mockup, Pro Model, Flex Sim, and related tooling
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)
  • Experience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work (installation plans, tool orders, line stock checks, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary information (summary pay ranges):
Level 3: $103,700–$140,300. Level 4: $126,650–$171,350.
