* Position Responsibilities:
** Level 2
* Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
* Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
* Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
* Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
* Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
* Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
* Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
* Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
* Works under general supervision.
** Level 3
*** Supports development activities and leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements related to Mission Systems and Avionics.
* Provides interpretation of complex requirements and assists design engineers with technical reviews including configuration change proposals, preliminary / critical design reviews, First Article Inspections, and Qualification testing.
* Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for large programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
* Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities and Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRAs).
* Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
* Leads and participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
* Develops and selects methods for analysis, testing and audit to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
* Initiate and implements corrective actions based on nonconformance trend analysis
* Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
* Works under minimal direction.
** Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
*** Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
* 1+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management
* 1+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
* 1+ years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)
* 1+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
** Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
*** 5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Current American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certifications (CQA);(CQE); (CQT)
* Experience in an avionics, electrical, and/or systems engineering role
* 3+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Management
* 3+ years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
** Conflict of Interest:
** Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
** Travel:
** This position may require up to 15% of domestic/international travel.
** Shift:
** This position is for 1st shift
