Location:

Berkeley, MO. This level‑4 integration engineer will lead the requirements, development, and testing of new capabilities for the F/A-18 aircraft as part of the Advanced Mission Systems organization.

• Lead work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Lead and coordinate analysis to translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.
• Lead work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Oversee the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Resolve problems related to fielded hardware and software across the entire product lifecycle.
• Research technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
• Make recommendations for technology investments.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre‑Start is required.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• (Level
  4) 9+ years of work‑related experience with a Bachelor’s, or 7+ years of work‑related experience with a Master’s, or 4+ years of work‑related experience with a PhD.
• Experience with military avionics technology.

• Experience developing or integrating mission systems for military aircraft.
• Experience with electronic system design, code, and test.
• Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Experience with Multi‑Level Security (MLS) implementation.
• Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years’ related work experience, Master + 7 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is preferred, although not required.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range for Senior (Level
4): $129,200 – $174,800.
