The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Phantom Works team is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer located in Berkeley, MO.

Position Overview:

We are looking for Manufacturing Engineers, with expertise in airplane subsystems, production readiness and composite fabrication. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient production of our world-class aerospace products, including advanced platforms for our Fighter Jet programs. Position Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes for airplane structure and subsystems.

* Ensure production readiness by identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiency.

* Support operations by streamlining processes, improving quality, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

* Utilize data analysis and engineering principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

* Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and assembly considerations. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

* An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

* This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

* 9+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
* B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering

* Level 5: 14+ years of related work experience with a Bachelors OR an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

* Composite & Metallic Fabrication, Assembly & Integration experience

* Experience reviewing engineering models and notes

* Experience establishing a new production build process

* Experience supporting Production Operations

* Experience creating an interchangeable assembly

* Experience with LEAN

* Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers (Internal & External)

* Experience as a Lead for junior engineers

* Experience with 3D model-based instructions

* Experience with any of the following:
Microsoft Project, Team Center, NX, IVT, CREO, MESci, Vis Mockup, Pro Model, Flex Sim, 3D Printed Parts Typical

Education & Experience:

Level 4:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 5:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
