Position Responsibilities- Develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design
- Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment
- Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
- Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
- Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
- Provide technical solutions for aircraft production lines with high priority nonconformance stress analysis and engineering changes
- Works under general direction.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years of experience working with stress analysis/structural analysis
- 5+ years of experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
- Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis Software (FEMAP, Hyperworks) preferred.
- Experience with Company Analysis Tool (Common Structures Workstation).
- Experience with design process specifications (Metallic Materials Properties Development and Standardization – MMPDS, Company Design Manuals – BDMs)
