Crocker Christian Church is looking for a full time Youth Minister. The ability to lead worship on Sunday mornings is a plus. We would also consider making this a part time position for the right person. Crocker Christian Church is a small-town church with an average weekly attendance of 160. We are looking for someone that can help lead our Worship Ministry and Youth Ministry.

Our church offers a friendly Sunday morning experience, Wednesday night Bible studies, and Sunday school classes, children’s church times on Sunday morning, as well as offering a small volunteer ran nursery. You can find more details in our job description attachment. We offer youth programs for Nursery through High School. The right person will work in conjunction with our Children’s Coordinator, Nursery Coordinator, Preaching Minister, and Elders to build upon the work that is already in place.

Our goal is to develop a ministry that not only reaches young people, but their families as well. This will involve but is not limited to recruiting and training the needed staff in order for this ministry to grow. This person must be willing to be involved in the community and school activities.

We would like someone that can come in and work with our Worship Team to help enhance our worship time. This person will work with the worship team and Preaching Minister in planning weekly worship, special services, recruiting and training new team members, training sound techs and other areas of need within the worship ministry.

• Help lead our Worship Ministry and Youth Ministry in conjunction with church staff and volunteers.
• Work with the Children’s Coordinator, Nursery Coordinator, Preaching Minister, and Elders to build upon existing programs.
• Plan weekly worship services and special services in collaboration with the Worship Team and Preaching Minister.
• Recruit and train staff and volunteers for the youth and worship ministries.
• Train sound technicians and address other areas of need within the worship ministry.
• Be involved in the community and school activities to support ministry growth.
