Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Family and Consumer Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at the Ninth Grade Center for the school year
. Our ideal candidate is passionate about equipping students with practical life skills, including nutrition, personal finance, child development, and career readiness. The qualified candidate should hold or be eligible for a valid Missouri Family and Consumer Science Certificate for Grades 9-12.
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons in Family and Consumer Sciences
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth
- Integrate technology and project-based learning strategies into instruction
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and parents to support student success
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities
- Salary schedule placement acknowledging highest level of education and all years of previous teaching experience as allowed by the salary schedule
