RSC Mechanical is looking to expand our team and is seeking experienced Refrigeration Service Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that invests in its technicians and offers long‑term career stability.

Full‑time position.
Minimum education:
High school degree. Compensation: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour.
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk‑ins, reach‑ins, ice machines, parallel rack systems, etc.)
- Preferred experience with CO₂ refrigeration rack systems, including hands‑on work with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of transcritical and subcritical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and system checks.
- Handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
- Replace or repair compressors, motors, fans, and other key components.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; extensive driving is a key part of the role.
- Technicians are expected to supply their own standard hand tools.
- Ability to complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills with clients, team members, and management.
- Able to work under pressure in fast‑paced or high‑stress environments.
- Self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Overtime may be required based on workload.
- Participation in an on‑call rotation following the training period.
