Prellis Biologics uses proprietary technology to 3D print lymph node organoids, which we are using to generate in vitro antibody libraries and in vitro human lymphnode cocultures for generating antigen-specific B-cells. We are seeking a Research Associate – Senior Research Associate, Antibody Screening and Characterization to join our Antibody Screening team. This role will report to a Senior Scientist in the Antibody Screening team working on internal QC and high-throughput antibody screening.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, with significant experience in supporting end-to-end antibody discovery campaigns.
- Support high-throughput antibody screening and characterization using BLI and SPR technologies to assess binding kinetics, specificity, and affinity across multiple antibody discovery projects.
- Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and execute a range of ELISA-based immunoassays to support high-throughput antibody screening, validation, and characterization.
- Work with custom laboratory automation systems and liquid handling platforms to enable high-throughput workflows.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical support through proactive communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records and present results clearly in team and project meetings.
- Independently troubleshoot assays and contribute to protocol optimization for enhanced robustness, efficiency, and throughput.
- B.S in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related life science field with 4+ years of experience, or M.S. with 2+ years of relevant experience in an industry or equivalent research setting.
- Strong hands-on experience with BLI-based antibody screening (e.g. Octet);
Familiarity with Carterra® LSA/LSAXT or Biacore™ SPR is a strong plus. - Hands-on experience in small-scale protein purification using chromatography resins is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with lab automation systems or liquid handlers, such as Biomek and Lynx.
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience in antibody discovery workflows with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic candidates.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to contribute to multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document, interpret, and present experimental results clearly.
- Experience with performing high-throughput protein QC/analytical assays following protein purification (SDS-PAGE, affinity chromatography and size-exclusion chromatography) is a plus.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
