Assisted Living Manager

Piedmont Gardens, a 5-Star Human Good senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Living (AL) Manager to help lead our Assisted Living program. This role partners closely with the Assisted Living Director and plays a key role on the community leadership team, supporting high-quality care, team development, and resident satisfaction. As the AL Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for a team of approximately 20 Resident Assistants, ensuring compassionate care and consistent service delivery.

Position details:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (must be available to support all shifts as needed)

$65,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience

Key responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to:

• Leading the full employee lifecycle: interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management
• Supporting and implementing resident-centered activities and support programs
• Partnering with leadership on marketing efforts and engaging with prospective residents and families
• Conducting regular community rounds to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Participating in initial and ongoing resident assessments to identify needs and changes in condition
• Assisting in the development and execution of individualized Resident Services Plans
• Participating in resident and family meetings to support communication and care alignment

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social sciences, business, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience in healthcare, senior living, or a comparable service-focused environment
• Proficiency with computers and experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe)
• Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills
• A background and a passion for senior living and service excellence
