What to Expect

• Full‑time role based in Berkeley, CA.

• Operations support: onboarding, accounting, office and document organization.

• HR duties: maintain employee records, coordinate benefits, support payroll.

• Executive support: writing and polishing professional emails and documents.

• Occasional involvement in project sprints when deadlines require extra effort.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 5+ years in chief‑of‑staff or operations roles.

• Versatility across a variety of tasks.

• Experience with Confluence and Atlassian Stack.

• Excellent email‑writing skills.

• Experience managing payroll and vendor payments (bookkeeping).

• Proficiency with MS Office.

• Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.

• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Office 365.

• U.S. permanent resident.

Desired Qualifications

• Professional working fluency in Spanish or Mandarin.

• Local and living in Berkeley, CA.

• Startup experience.

Compensation

• $90k–$100k per year, depending on experience.
