Rocket Yoga Instructor for Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:15pm. Berkeley Ironworks is seeking a Rocket Yoga instructor. The instructor will lead a 60 minute Rocket class at 12:15pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Lead a 60-minute Rocket Yoga class at the scheduled time (Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:15pm).
• Demonstrate and instruct safe and effective yoga postures with in-depth knowledge of Rocket Yoga principles, techniques, and sequencing.
• Create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants; adapt classes based on participants’ needs and feedback.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working condition; alert management if there are concerns.
• Obtain explicit consent from participants before making any physical adjustments; encourage participants to voice preferences and limitations, respecting boundaries and decisions.

• In-depth knowledge and expertise in Rocket Yoga.
• Valid certification from a recognized yoga school (RYT-200 or higher preferred).
• Proficiency in teaching and demonstrating yoga poses and sequences effectively.
• Ability to modify poses and sequences for various skill levels, body types, and individual needs.
• Excellent verbal communication and instruction skills to guide students safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of yogic philosophy, principles, and ethics.
• Awareness of proper alignment and adjustments to prevent injuries and promote optimal practice.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest trends and research in yoga and related fields.
• Compliance with local regulations and legal requirements for teaching yoga and other fitness classes.
• Availability to teach at scheduled class times.

Starting pay is $30–$34/hour. Compensation decisions are based on factors including facility location and type, membership volume, experience, and tenure.
