- Maintain proactive relationships with customers, utilities, landowners, permitting agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Manage third‑party consultants, including environmental, biological, engineering, and land agents; oversee associated contracting and deliverables.
- Liaise with technical teams to optimize layouts, engineering deliverables, EPC preparation, and construction planning.
- Prepare and deliver project updates and progress reports to senior management.
- Support internal approvals, project handovers to construction, and financial model development.
- Assist in evaluating new development opportunities, conducting competitive analysis, and supporting offtake pricing development.
- Provide guidance to Land Acquisition Specialists to ensure bankable land agreements.
- Contribute to the development pipeline strategy, long‑term planning, and annual budget cycles.
- Assist with project finance and sell‑down material preparation as required.
- Support efforts to monitor and improve development processes and portfolio performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in development, permitting, land, and interconnection for solar and/or BESS projects.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, incentives, and market dynamics in CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, and other U.S. power markets.
- Experience negotiating and managing MSAs, PPAs, EPC contracts, LOIs, lease/tolling agreements, and O&M contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), MS Project, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel 20–30% to support project needs.
- Subject‑matter expertise in areas such as real estate, finance, environmental permitting, or tax incentives.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
