Senior Design Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non‑US qualification related to the role.
• Over 9 years of relevant work experience combined with a bachelors degree, or an equivalent blend of experience and technical education.

• Collaborate with customers to create and formalize complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Coordinate efforts to interpret and convert requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, as well as interface specifications.
• Conduct testing and validation to confirm system designs fulfill operational and functional criteria.
• Supervise the team responsible for monitoring supplier performance to guarantee system integration aligns with requirements.
• Address issues and provide ongoing support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
• Investigate technological advancements for possible applications within our business needs.
• Propose recommendations for technology investments.
