A diverse Montessori program in Berkeley is seeking an assistant teacher to support head teachers and implement the Montessori philosophy. This full-time role involves working with children ages 18 months to 6 years, with responsibilities including supervising activities, maintaining a safe environment, and assisting with children’s needs. The ideal candidate should possess early childhood education units, be available from 8:15 to 4:15, and have a commitment to learning and applying Montessori principles.

The starting salary is $50,000 with generous paid time off and benefits.
