We are hiring an experienced Production Support Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise-level financial platforms. If you thrive in high-availability environments and enjoy working across incident, change, and problem management — this opportunity is for you!
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift (On-call, weekends/holidays as needed)
Job SummaryAs a Production Support Engineer
, you will play a critical role across multiple stages of the Software Development Lifecycle, focusing on production stability, resiliency, and performance. You’ll support high-quality financial platforms while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production operations.
This role requires strong hands-on experience in monitoring, incident management, and platform support in enterprise IT environments.
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)- 4+ years of experience in an enterprise IT environment
- 2+ years experience with Unix & Windows systems and scheduling tools
- 2+ years experience with databases:
Oracle, MySQL, Mongo
DB, Cassandra - 2+ years experience in:
Flink, Spark, Hadoop - 2+ years in Production Management & Application Monitoring
- 1+ year experience with monitoring tools:
Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Moogsoft - 1+ year experience with Incident, Change & Problem Management
- Tools:
Service Now, Remedy, CA Service Desk - Experience with on-call production support
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent combination of education & experience)
- Manage incident, change, and problem management activities
- Perform impact analysis & root cause analysis for production issues
- Support monthly patching & certification activities
- Conduct proactive monitoring using Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Moogsoft
- Drive resiliency, availability, and platform hygiene improvements
- Collaborate with production assurance and cross-functional teams
- Strictly USC & GC candidates only
- Must be open to shift schedules & on-call rotation
